Silicone Rubber Insulated Cables are low smoke halogen-free, flexible and durable performing well under adverse climatic conditions, and resistant to many chemicals. Offered in both braid-less and glass braided constructions, it can be used where temperatures vary.
It is easy to strip. Silicone Rubber Insulated Cable with a glass braid has added abrasion resistance with EO's special lacquer treatment to prevent any fraying. Even with the braid, the silicone rubber insulation strips cleanly. Both are rated to 600V and 150° or 200° C.
They are recommended for use in applications where high temperatures exceed the maximum rating of traditional plastic and rubber insulated wires. Silicone Rubber Insulated Cable Recommended applications include foundries, steel mills, glass factories, and other high temperature processes where abrasion resistance is required.
